(File <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/nationalyouthcommission\/photos\/a.2613407112006130\/2613412322005609\/?type=3&amp;theater\">Photo<\/a>: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/nationalyouthcommission\/\">National Youth Commission\/Facebook<\/a>)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>MANILA<\/strong> \u2013 President Rodrigo Duterte need not justify his decision to appoint Ronald Cardema as the commissioner of the National Youth Commission (NYC), Malaca\u00f1ang said on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Duterte, as the country\u2019s chief executive, has the \u201csole and exclusive prerogative&#8221; to pick his appointees, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said in a virtual press briefing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSang-ayon po sa Saligang Batas ay wala pong kahit sinong pupwedeng mag-kwestiyon sa mga ganyang appointment. Nasa pleasure na po iyan ng Presidente (According to the Constitution, no one can question any presidential appointment.
