(Pexels photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>MANILA<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 The number of police officers who contracted the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) has reached 1,761, the Philippine National Police (PNP) reported Thursday night.<\/p>\n<p>The PNP Health Service reported 118 more Covid-19 cases among its ranks.<\/p>\n<p>A total of 687 personnel have recovered from the disease while the death toll stands at nine.<\/p>\n<p>The PNP Health Service is also monitoring 719 probable cases and 2,470 suspected cases.<\/p>\n<p>The majority of cops who have contracted the Covid-19 are asymptomatic.<\/p>\n<p>If a cop tests positive, he\/she will observe a 14-day quarantine and undergo another test.
