(Pixabay photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>MANILA<\/strong>\u00a0&#8212;\u00a0The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Wednesday said 20 more overseas Filipinos (OFs) contracted the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19), bringing the overall tally to 9,165.<\/p>\n<p>The DFA said the new cases were reported in the Americas, Asia Pacific, and Europe. No case was reported in the Middle East\/Africa, which remains with the highest number of infections among Filipinos at 6,605.<\/p>\n<p>As of this posting, the total active cases stand at 3,149 &#8212; at least 163 in the Asia Pacific, 486 in Europe, 2,380 in the Middle East\/Africa, and 120 in the Americas.<\/p>\n<p>The DFA also registered two new fatalities, raising the death toll to 647.
