(Shutterstock)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><strong>MANILA<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 The Philippine government is firm on facing the digital economy head-on as allocations have been included for this under the proposed 2021 national budget, Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Secretary Wendel Avisado said.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">During the second virtual pre-State-of-the-Nation Address (SONA) briefing Wednesday, Avisado said financing for upscaling the government\u2019s digitalization capability is among the priorities for next year\u2019s national budget.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u201cThe only way for us to boost our economy is to be digital.
