(Pexels photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>MANILA<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0The Department of Health (DOH) on Monday reported 830 additional coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) infections, raising the overall tally to 57,006.<\/p>\n<p>The DOH said the additional cases reported are based on the total tests done by 57 out of 82 current operational laboratories.<\/p>\n<p>It also reported 4,325 recoveries and 65 new deaths.<\/p>\n<p>These figures bring the total number of recoveries to 20,371 and the total number of deaths to 1,599<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Of the 65 reported deaths, nine or 14 percent in July, 54 or 83 percent in June, and 2 or 3 percent in May. Deaths were from Region 7 which is 59 or 91 percent, NCR which is four or 6 percent, and Region 11 which is one or 2 percent, and one case or 2 percent in an unspecified region. Eighty-nine duplicates were removed from total case count.
