(File <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/HouseofRepsPH\/photos\/a.10150690050162271\/10155355702737271\/?type=3&amp;amp;theater\">Photo<\/a>: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/HouseofRepsPH\/\">House of Representatives of the Philippines\/Facebook<\/a>)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>MANILA<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 President Rodrigo Duterte is set to ask Congress to hold a special session to tackle the passage of the so-called \u201cBayanihan 2\u201d, a bill that contains a stimulus package for the country\u2019s recovery from the impact of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19), Malaca\u00f1ang said Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>This developed after Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez III confirmed that Duterte\u2019s economic team was able to thresh out issues concerning the economic stimulus package, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said in a virtual presser aired on state-run PTV-4.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cNarinig ko kay<\/em>\u00a0Secretary Dominguez<em>\u00a0na<\/em>\u00a0more or less,\u00a0<em>plantsado na nila.<\/em>\u00a0At first time\u00a0<em>din na kinumpirma niya na hihingi tayo ng<\/em>\u00a0special session\u00a0<em>sa Kongreso<\/em>\u00a0(I heard Secretary Dominguez say that more or less, they have ironed out [the details of the stimulus package].
