No further details about the baby were revealed.<\/p>\n<p>This comes after Sheffield Children&#8217;s Hospital confirmed that a child, who was admitted in a critical condition, passed away in the facility last Monday.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The cause of death is not yet known. Tests have confirmed that the child had Covid-19, but it isn&#8217;t yet clear if it was a contributing factor,&#8221; it said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>It was earlier reported that a further 62 COVID-19 positive individuals died in hospitals in England, with the eldest aged 96.<\/p>\n<p>As of writing, more than 300,000 coronavirus cases were recorded in the UK, while more than 42,000 people have died.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A 13-day-old baby had reportedly become the youngest coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19)-related death in the United Kingdom.
