(Pexels photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>MANILA<\/strong>\u00a0&#8212;\u00a0The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Thursday recorded 17 more overseas Filipinos (OFs) who contracted the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19), raising the overall tally to 6,091.<\/p>\n<p>As of this posting, Middle East\/Africa has the most number of confirmed cases at 3,926, followed by Europe with 912, the Americas with 684, and the Asia Pacific with 569.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the DFA reported one new recovery and six new fatalities, bringing the total number to 2,843 and 472, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>The active cases are concentrated in the Middle East and Africa where at least 2,023 are still undergoing treatment.
