KARL NORMAN ALONZO\/PRESIDENTIAL PHOTO<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>MANILA<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 For the second time since the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) grappled the country, President Rodrigo Duterte flew home to Davao City to be with his family this weekend, Malaca\u00f1ang said on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>Duterte was in his official residence in Davao City since Friday, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Kahapon po umalis ang Presidente<\/em>\u00a0(The President left Manila yesterday),\u201d he said during the Laging Handa program aired on state-run PTV-4.<\/p>\n<p>Roque said Duterte is also expected to deliver his next public address in Davao City.<\/p>\n<p>Roque added that he is set to hold the virtual presser in Duterte\u2019s hometown.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Ang alam ko po, \u2018yung huling talumpati niya sa bayan ay magaganap po sa<\/em>\u00a0Davao.\u00a0<em>At umaasa rin po ako na isang<\/em>\u00a0press briefing\u00a0<em>natin ay doon<\/em>\u00a0(I know he would deliver his next speech in Davao City.
