Legacy 150 Celebrations Society is fortunate to be able to continue with the celebration virtually while many long-standing summer events were forced to cancel this year.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In view of the pandemic, we are celebrating Canada\u2019s 153rd birthday in a new format with two purposes:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 To celebrate Canada Day (virtually) <a href=\"http:\/\/canadadaydrumming.com\/\">http:\/\/canadadaydrumming.com\/<\/a> in an interactive way; and<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 To salute healthcare and frontline workers who have given so much to keep us safe.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Encouraged by the overwhelming support, this year\u2019s celebration will cover 10 Provinces and three Territories across 6 time zones. Many cities have answered our call and we are targeting 1000+ participants, first-come-first-served, no drumming experience required.<\/p>\n<p>The event will be broadcast on July 1, 2020, from 10:00 AM to 11:15AM (PDT) with a 6-minute simultaneous drumming at 11am (PDT).
