Dalan)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>MANILA<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 The strict implementation of checkpoints in borders of provinces will remain despite the easing of community restrictions next month, Interior Secretary Eduardo A\u00f1o said on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;In between borders\u00a0<em>ng probinsiya, medyo mahigpit yan<\/em>\u00a0(Checkpoints between borders of provinces would be strict),&#8221; A\u00f1o said in a radio interview.<\/p>\n<p>People who will travel to provinces for non-work purposes would still be required to obtain a travel pass, he said.<\/p>\n<p>Help desks have been set up in local government units (LGUs) and police stations to disseminate information regarding the travel pass policy, A\u00f1o said, adding that LGUs would also provide the medical certificate that is required to get a travel pass.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, workers only have to show their company IDs or certificates of employment in checkpoints.<\/p>\n<p>He added that checkpoints have been furnished with a list of industries that are allowed to operate.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>&#8216;Yung mga nagtatrabaho<\/em>\u00a0and are crossing boundaries,\u00a0<em>ang kailangan lang naman nila diyan yung<\/em>\u00a0company ID, proof of work.\u00a0<em>Kung walang<\/em>\u00a0ID\u00a0<em>ay<\/em>\u00a0certificate of employment,\u00a0<em>kung sino yung<\/em>\u00a0employer.\u00a0<em>I-o-<\/em>honor\u00a0<em>naman &#8216;yan at<\/em>\u00a0more or less,<em>\u00a0itong mga karatig-probinsya ng<\/em>\u00a0Metro Manila,\u00a0<em>nakapagplano na rin ang mga pulis natin sa mga pagma<\/em>-man\u00a0<em>ng<\/em>\u00a0checkpoint.\u00a0<em>&#8216;Yung<\/em>\u00a0checkpoint\u00a0<em>naman natin, mag-<\/em>adjust\u00a0<em>&#8216;yan<\/em>\u00a0(Those who are crossing borders for work need to present their company ID, proof of work. If they do not have an ID, they could present a certificate of employment showing the name of their employer. That will be honored. More or less, the neighboring provinces of Metro Manila, our police officers have already planned in manning the checkpoints.
