(PCOO file photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>MANILA<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Malaca\u00f1ang on Thursday encouraged the victims of cops\u2019 supposed \u201csex for pass\u201d scheme to come forward so the government can launch a proper investigation against the perpetrators.<\/p>\n<p>Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque made the call in a virtual presser aired on state-run PTV-4.<\/p>\n<p>Roque noted that the Philippine National Police (PNP) has yet to receive a complaint from women who have purportedly been sexually abused by erring police front-liners.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cTinanong naman po namin sa<\/em>\u00a0PNP,\u00a0<em>wala naman daw pong<\/em>\u00a0complainant. So\u00a0<em>kinakailangan yung pito na sinasabing naging biktima ng<\/em>\u00a0\u2018sex for pass\u2019,\u00a0<em>kinakailangang lumantad po kayo, mag-reklamo<\/em>\u00a0(We asked the PNP and it said there is no complainant. So, the seven alleged victims of sex for pass must come forward and file a complaint),\u201d Roque said.<\/p>\n<p>Roque said the victims who fell prey to the sex for pass harassment may reach his office or the PNP\u2019s Women and Children Protection Office.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cKung kayo po ay natatakot, pumunta po kayo sa aking tanggapan o di naman po kaya ay sa<\/em>\u00a0Women\u2019s and Children\u2019s Desk<em>\u00a0na meron po tayo sa lahat po ng istasyon ng mga pulis<\/em>\u00a0(If you are afraid, go to my office or at the Women\u2019s and Children\u2019s Desk that we have in all police stations),\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Roque issued the statement following reports that some cops deployed in quarantine checkpoints are supposedly trading sex for a quarantine pass amid the imposition of nationwide community quarantine.<\/p>\n<p>PNP chief, Gen.
