(Pexels photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>MANILA<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Thursday reported a spike of 157 confirmed coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) cases among Filipinos abroad, raising the total number to 2,821.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The spike covers numbers received from one country in the Middle East where data was not updated for almost two months,&#8221; the DFA said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>Based on its latest figures, the Middle East and Europe have the highest number of reported cases at 899 and 806, respectively.
