But for Surrey Philippine Independence Day Society (SPIDS), this is the perfect opportunity to launch a month-long blood donation drive with the Canadian Blood Services.<\/p>\n<p>Every June, the Filipino Heritage Month, the organization holds its yearly Philippine Independence Day event in Surrey.
