Photo by <a href=\"http:\/\/it.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Stevie_Wonder#mediaviewer\/File:Stevie_Wonder_2.jpg\" target=\"_blank\">Antonio Cruz\/ABr \/ Ag\u00eancia Brasil<\/a> \/ Wikimedia Commons.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>LOS ANGELES\u2014Stevie Wonder said the mayor of Ferguson, Missouri, isn\u2019t seeing the full picture a month after an unarmed black 18-year-old was killed by a white police officer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t know if the mayor has blinders on,\u201d Wonder said in an interview Wednesday. \u201cBut to say that he didn\u2019t know that there was a racial or cultural problem in the city is unfortunate.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Wonder said he approved of how President Barack Obama has responded to protests in the city following Michael Brown\u2019s death last month. As the unrest drew worldwide attention, Ferguson Mayor James Knowles told reporters that there was no \u201cracial divide\u201d there.<\/p>\n<p>Wonder spoke after announcing a fall North American tour highlighting his Grammy-winning 1976 double album \u201cSongs in the Key of Life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The concerts will include performances of new songs culled from the 40 to 50 tunes Wonder wrote for an upcoming album, he said in the interview. He hopes to release the album, titled \u201cThrough the Eyes of Wonder,\u201d in February.<\/p>\n<p>Wonder said his new music was partly inspired by monitoring\u00a0world\u00a0news, from clashes in the Middle East to cultural differences in the U.S.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cObviously the good, the bad and the ugly, I\u2019ve seen it all.
