The infected individual tested positive on May 3 and was asymptomatic.<\/p>\n<p>The warehouse is located at 2755 190 Street in Surrey and Loblaw assured in the same article that it has taken several steps to protect other employees. Some of these include the thorough sanitization and deep cleaning of common areas in the warehouse, as well as, removing the equipment that the employee used or worked with.<\/p>\n<p>Other members of the staff that worked closely with the infect employee were also asked to isolate themselves at home and observe any symptoms that may arise.<\/p>\n<p>The company has already reached out to local public health offices for further instructions and steps that need to be taken.<\/p>\n<p>Loblaw is Canada\u2019s largest retailer, providing Canadians with grocery, pharmacy, health and beauty, apparel, general merchandise, banking, and wireless mobile products and services.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Loblaw\u2019s South Surrey confirmed that one of its employees tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
