(File photo: @fikrirasyid\/Unsplash)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>One of the employees of a grocery store in Mississauga reportedly tested positive for coronavirus diseases 2019 (COVID-19).<\/p>\n<p>In a report published by Mississauga News, Marc&#8217;s No Frills, located at 925 Rathburn Road, was notified that there is a staff member of them who contracted the virus on Wednesday, May 6.<\/p>\n<p>The report stated that the store already communicated with Peel Public Health regarding the matter. Marc&#8217;s No Frills has also been implementing safety measures inside their store to protect their staff and customers from the virus.<\/p>\n<p>Those who had close contact with the infected employee are currently under self-isolation at their respective homes.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to this, there were two reported cases of COVID-19 in two different grocers in Mississauga. The first one was an employee of <a href=\"https:\/\/corpo.metro.ca\/en\/covid-19-cases-ontario.html\">Marche Adonis<\/a> whose positive test result was known by the company last May 3, while the other one was a staff member of <a href=\"https:\/\/corporate.sobeys.com\/covid-19-cases-stores\/\">Sobeys<\/a> at their Tenth Line West location who reportedly contracted the virus on May 4.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One of the employees of a grocery store in Mississauga reportedly tested positive for coronavirus diseases 2019 (COVID-19).
