(PIA file photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>MANILA<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 The Philippines is in the initial stages of coordination with the Japanese government for the planned clinical trials of Avigan for coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) patients in the country.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<em>Nagkaroon po tayo ng kasunduan sa<\/em>\u00a0government of Japan<em>\u00a0kung saan mayroon po tayong pagkakasunduan, kung magiging<\/em>\u00a0clear\u00a0<em>po ang ating<\/em>\u00a0arrangement,\u00a0<em>ito pong isang gamot ay<\/em>\u00a0Avigan\u00a0<em>pero nasa<\/em>\u00a0initial stages of coordination\u00a0<em>pa lang tayo<\/em>\u00a0(We had an agreement with the government of Japan, once the arrangement has been clear, the medicine would be Avigan.
