(File <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/w\/index.php?curid=56252750\">Photo By Patrick Roque, Wikimedia Commons, CC BY-SA 4.0<\/a>)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>MANILA<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Friday condoled with the bereaved families of those who were killed in a mass shooting in Nova Scotia, Canada that happened between April 18 and April 19 (local time).<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Department of Foreign Affairs is deeply saddened to hear of the shooting that took place this weekend in the province of Nova Scotia, Canada,&#8221; the agency said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Filipino people extend their heartfelt condolences to the families and communities suffering from this incident, and join all Canadians in mourning the loss of innocent lives,&#8221; it added.<\/p>\n<p>The incident, dubbed as the &#8220;worst shooting in Canadian history&#8221;, took place in a number of sites as the killer reportedly drove several kilometers setting fires and shooting his &#8220;neighbors and strangers&#8221;.
