ANKARA<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 South Korea said on Tuesday the country had not seen any unusual activity in North Korea amid rumors that Kim Jong-un’s health had deteriorated.<\/p>\n

“We have nothing to confirm and there has been no unusual activity detected in North Korea,” Yonhap News Agency quoted Blue House spokesman Kang Min-seok as saying. Blue House is the executive office and official residence of the Republic of Korea’s head of state.<\/p>\n

Earlier, CNN reported that according to a US intelligence official, Kim’s health was “in grave danger after a surgery.”<\/p>\n

The report came a day after Pyongyang denied US President Donald Trump’s claim of receiving a “nice note” from the supreme leader.<\/p>\n

Speculations regarding Kim’s health, however, were rife after he skipped his grandfather’s 108th birthday celebrations on April 15.<\/p>\n
