Gen. Gilbert Gapay, on Thursday ordered the Army Assistant Chief of Staff for Personnel, Office of the Army Chief Surgeon (OACS), and Office of the Army Chief Nurse to fast-track the recruitment of physicians and other health practitioners who will be deployed to Covid-19 patient care facilities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe intend to augment the Philippine Army medical workforce in order to strengthen the organization\u2019s capabilities in responding to the government\u2019s call to fight the Covid-19,\u201d he said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>Applicants must be a graduate of Doctor of Medicine, has a valid and current Professional Regulation Commission License, a natural-born Filipino citizen, 25 to 38 years old, single or married and of good moral character.<\/p>\n<p>Upon taking their oath, the newly-recruited doctors will have an initial rank of probationary second lieutenant with a base pay of PHP38,366 plus allowances and other benefits.<\/p>\n<p>Once commissioned, they will be promoted to the rank of captain with a base pay of PHP 56,582 and additional benefits.<\/p>\n<p>Eligible applicants may further inquire through OACS mobile number: +639171825658 or tel. 845-9555 loc. 6616\/6016, or through email at oacs.mc@gmail.com.
