The character was first offered to Judy Ann Santos, but she could not proceed with the project due to some circumstances.<\/p>\n<p>During the interview, Director Wenn Deramas clarified that he has no idea what happened between Santos and Star Cinema.<\/p>\n<p>When asked her thoughts with regard to being a second choice, Calzado said that she does not want to be picky on the projects that she gets.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a good thing that I still get projects,\u201d Calzado said. \u201cIt doesn\u2019t matter if you\u2019re first, second, third, or whatever choice. These things happen. You will never succeed if you\u2019re going to mull over being second rated.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She added that Santos gave her blessing regarding the project as relayed by her manager Noel Ferrer. The movie is set to hit the big screen on September 17.<\/p>\n<p>This year is a very busy one for Calzado. She already had three movies so far which include \u201cStarting Over Again,\u201d \u201cSomebody to Love,\u201d Barber\u2019s Tales.\u201d In addition, she also stars in TV series \u201cHawak Kamay\u201d with Piolo Pascual.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s tiring, and overwhelming, but at the end of the day, they are still blessings,\u201d said Calzado.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding her love life, she revealed that she does not have plans yet of settling down with non-showbiz boyfriend Ben Wintle.
