(File Photo by CDC\/Unsplash)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>MANILA<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Sixteen more people have recovered from the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19), bringing the total to 140, the Department of Health (DOH) said Friday.<\/p>\n<p>The death toll, on the other hand, ballooned to 221 with 18 new deaths recorded.<\/p>\n<p>On April 10, the total number of Covid-19 cases in the country was at 4,195 after the department registered 119 new cases.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;As of 4 p.m. today, April 10, 2020, the Department of Health reports 119 new cases of Covid-19. Total number of cases in the country is now at 4,195,&#8221; the DOH said in a bulletin.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, the DOH said its Covid-19 tracker would be inaccessible until April 11 and would be re-launched on April 12 with updated graphs and charts.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Avoid misting&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>On efforts to stop the spread of Covid-19, the DOH, in a separate statement, advised the public to refrain from spraying or misting.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;DOH does not recommend spraying or misting.
