(File Photo by CDC\/Unsplash)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>MANILA<\/strong>\u00a0&#8212; The number of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) deaths in the country is now at 14, the Department of Health (DOH) said on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>In its 8:30 pm medical bulletin, the DOH said the two mortalities were patient 126 and patient 129.<\/p>\n<p>Patient 126 is a 76-year-old Filipino male who died in the afternoon due to acute respiratory disease syndrome (ARDS) and severe pneumonia secondary to Covid-19.<\/p>\n<p>He has type 2 diabetes and hypertensive cardiovascular disease.<\/p>\n<p>He was admitted at the Adventist Medical Center in Manila on March 9 and was confirmed positive with Covid-19 on March 15.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, patient 129 is a 67-year-old Filipino male who died from ARDS and community acquired pneumonia secondary to Covid-19.
