(File <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/Bz_mVgdhZP9\/\">photo<\/a>: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/loonieverse\/\">loonieverse\/Instagram<\/a>)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p class=\"p1\">Rapper Loonie is now a free man after posting a P2-million bail for drug charges filed against him.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Bureau of Jail and Management Penology (BJMP) spokesperson, Jail Chief Inspector Xavier Solda told <span class=\"s1\">INQUIRER.net<\/span> on Saturday, January 25, that the rapper, or Marlon Peroramas in real life, temporarily walked out of the Makati City jail on Friday night.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Confirming the news, fellow rapper Mike Swift posted an Instagram photo, showing Loonie along with Ron Henley, Abra Apekz, and DJ Buddah.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">&#8220;Ring the Alarm! Back at it!&#8221; he wrote in the caption.<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/B7uD2_vgIPW\/<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Mike also uploaded a short video on YouTube titled, &#8220;Loonie is Back! Stronger than ever. #ALARMtour&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">It can be recalled that Loonie, along with four other suspects namely David Rizon, Ivan Agustin, Albert Alvarez, and Idyll Liza Peroramas, were nabbed during a buy-bust operation in Makati City in September 2019.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">[<a href=\"https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/2019\/09\/18\/makati-cops-arrest-rapper-loonie-4-others-in-buy-bust\/\">READ: Makati cops arrest rapper Loonie, 4 others in buy-bust<\/a>]<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Seized during the operation were 15 sachets of kush or high-grade marijuana worth P100,000, mobile phones, and marked money.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The rapper, however, denied that he was involved in the illegal drug trade.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The Makati City Office of the Prosecutor charged Loonie, his younger sister Idyll, and David were charged with violating Section 5 of the Republic Act (RA) No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 for selling illegal drugs. No bail was recommended.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Loonie and Rizon, along with Agustin, were also charged with violating Section 15 of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act for illegal drug use.
