The rat is also associated with fertility and financial abundance.<\/p>\n<p>This 2020 is the year of the Metal Rat.<\/p>\n<p>The Chinese Zodiac has twelve representative animals, namely: the rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, goat, monkey, rooster, dog and pig.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cYear of the Rat\u201d Stamp also comes with a souvenir sheet to highlight the special embellishment of \u201cGold Foil Stamping\u201d to reflect the look and feel of the stamps.<\/p>\n<p>PHLPost has printed 50,000 copies of the two (2) different colorful designs of the regular stamps which can be purchased at P12.00 and P45.00 per stamp.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, PHLPost also printed 4,000 copies of the limited edition souvenir sheets to be sold at P200.00 each for stamp collectors.<\/p>\n<p>The layout of the stamps was done by in-house graphic artist Rodine C. Teodoro.<\/p>\n<p>Stamps, souvenir sheets and official first day covers of \u201cNew Year 2020: Year of the Rat\u201d are available at the Philatelic Counter, Manila Central Post Office, all Mega Manila Post Offices, Postal Area 2, San Fernando, La Union, Postal Area 4, San Pablo, Postal Area 5, Mandaue, Postal Area 6, Iloilo, Postal Area 7, Davao, and Postal Area 8, Cagayan De Oro.
