It’s just like filling in the blanks,” the President said in a taped interview aired on Bombo Radyo Thursday morning.

Aquino dismissed statements coming from the House committee on justice which noted that the complaints against him are sufficient in form.

The impeachment complaints were filed following the Supreme Court’s (SC’s) ruling declaring several parts of the administration’s Disbursement Acceleration Program (DAP) to be unconstitutional.

Meanwhile, a separate impeachment complaint was filed against the president following the signing of the Enhanced Defenses Cooperation Agreement (Edca) with the United States.

The complainants argued that the President Aquino violated the constitutional provision which prevents the establishment of military bases in the country.

Despite these complaints, the president remains firm on his belief that he will get justice amid the impeachment complaints filed against him by “members of the leftist groups.”

“But at the end of the day, I believe we will get justice. And look at who filed them. Most of them, we can say, are members of leftist groups. When they are mad at me, and you can attest to this, they would stage rallies several times in our home on Times [Street] and we know that I am not there,” he said.

“They are attacking me on a very personal level,” Aquino added.

MANILA – President Aquino slammed his critics on Thursday, saying that the complaints against him, filed by militant groups, are …

[1482,95
3212,7610
post-24253","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-breaking","category-news-ph","tag-aquino","tag-impeachment-complaints","mauthors-lei-fontamillas","mauthors-philippine-canadian-inquirer
["GET
