(Facebook photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>MANILA &#8212; Daniel Matsunaga recently emerged as the big winner in the ABS-CBN reality show \u201cPinoy Big Brother: All In\u201d last Sunday. Ironically, this happened the same weekend that\u00a0his ex-girlfriend Heart Evangelista said \u201cyes\u201d to Sen. Francis \u201cChiz\u201d Escudero\u2019s marriage proposal.<\/p>\n<p>According to the 25-year-old- model-actor, he is happy for his ex-girlfriend.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Okay lang. Masaya ako para sa kanila\u00a0<\/em>(It&#8217;s okay, I&#8217;m happy for them),\u201d said Matsunaga during his interview at \u201cAquino and Abunda Tonight\u201d on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>He added, \u201cmove on <em>talaga. Matagal na<\/em> (I&#8217;ve really moved on a long time ago),\u201d when asked if he has already recovered from their failed relationship.<\/p>\n<p>Matsunaga and Evangelista became a couple in 2010, but the two broke up early in 2012. Evangelista then announced her relationship with Escudero in October 2012.<\/p>\n<p>When asked about his next plans, Matsunaga said that he plans to move his family to the country.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Para sa akin, puso talagang Pinoy ako. Kasi<\/em> I lived here for five years.<em> Plano ko talaga<\/em> to bring my whole family here (For me, I have the heart of a Filipino because I&#8217;ve lived here for five years. I plan on bringing my whole family here),\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>He added, \u201c<em>Kahit sa<\/em> Brazil, I tried Big Brother in Brazil. I did audition <em>pero<\/em> denied. And <em>syempre, dito sa Pilipinas, lahat ng<\/em> opportunities, you guys are amazing, amazing people. <em>Lahat ng sinabi sa akin ni<\/em> God <em>na<\/em> I have a purpose here <em>sa Pilipinas<\/em> happened.<em> Talagang sobrang<\/em> proud <em>ako na maging pusong Pinoy kasi syempre gusto ko talaga maging totoong Pilipino.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n<p>(I \u00a0also tried auditioning for Big Brother in Brazil but I got denied. And of course, here in the Philippines, I have a lot of opportunities. You guys are amazing, amazing people. Everything God told me that I have a purpose here in the Philippines actually happened.
