(Pixabay Photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Starting January 1, 2020, foreign nationals and their family members who wish to settle in Quebec will have to pass a test on democratic values and Quebec values as defined by the province\u2019s Charter of Human Rights and Freedoms.<br \/>\n<span id=\"more-13063\"><\/span><br \/>\nInformation on the values test was published in the Government of Quebec\u2019s Official Gazette today.<\/p>\n<p>Candidates will have to \u201cadequately answer\u201d a minimum of 75 per cent of questions on a test that they will need to complete within 60 days of submitting their application for a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/quebec-immigration-quebec-selection-certificate.html\">Quebec Selection Certificate<\/a>\u00a0(Certificat de s\u00e9lection du Qu\u00e9bec, or CSQ).<\/p>\n<p>If they don\u2019t meet this 75 per cent threshold, the assessment may be repeated.
