(Photo courtesy of Allan Nawal)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>MANILA<\/strong>\u00a0&#8212; The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) has revised Tuesday morning&#8217;s earthquake that hit some areas of Mindanao to 6.6 from the initial 6.4.<\/p>\n<p>The quake of tectonic origin struck some 26 kilometers northeast of Tulunan in Cotabato at 9:04 a.m.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pna.gov.ph\/articles\/1084478\">Phivolcs initially placed the earthquake&#8217;s magnitude at 6.4.<\/a>\u00a0It had a depth of 7 kilometers.<\/p>\n<p>It said aftershocks and damages from the quake are both possible.<\/p>\n<p>Phivolcs reported the following intensities:<\/p>\n<p>* Intensity VII &#8212; Tulunan and Makilala, Cotabato; Kidapawan City; Malungon, Sarangani<br \/>\n* Intensity VI &#8212; Davao City; Koronadal City; Cagayan de Oro City<br \/>\n* Intensity V &#8212; Tampakan, Surallah and Tupi, South Cotabato; Alabel, Sarangani<br \/>\n* Intensity IV &#8212; General Santos City; Kalilangan, Bukidnon<br \/>\n* Intensity III &#8212; Sergio Osme\u00f1a Sr., Zamboanga del Norte; Zamboanga City; Dipolog City; Molave, Zamboanga del Norte; Talakag, Bukidnon<br \/>\n* Intensity I &#8212; Camiguin<\/p>\n<p>A series of aftershocks continue to rock these areas, according to Phivolcs.
