(File <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/PresSpokespersonPH\/photos\/a.397841807217544\/769103916757996\/?type=3&amp;amp;theater\">Photo:<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/PresSpokespersonPH\/\">Office of the Presidential Spokesperson\/Facebook<\/a>)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>MANILA<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Malaca\u00f1ang cautioned tourists against visiting places in the Philippines \u201cwhere danger lurks\u201d after a British businessman and his Filipino wife were kidnapped by at least four gunmen in Tukuran, Zamboanga del Sur.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey should always take care of themselves. Avoid places where danger lurks,\u201d Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo said in a Palace briefing on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Panelo, however, said he would not ask tourists to avoid visiting Zamboanga del Sur saying the kidnapping case is just an \u201cisolated\u201d incident.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cMga<\/em>\u00a0isolated cases\u00a0<em>na ganiyan<\/em>.\u00a0<em>Minsan hindi mo rin maiwasan \u2018yan<\/em>\u00a0(Sometimes you cannot avoid isolated cases like that),\u201d Panelo said.<\/p>\n<p>He said the Philippine Army and the Philippine National Police (PNP) are on top of the situation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a PNP activity, so I\u2019m sure the PNP is doing something about it.
