Juan Ponce Enrile\" width=\"300\" height=\"249\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-21170\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><\/span><\/a><\/span> <span style=\"color: #000000;\">Facebook Photo<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">MANILA &#8212; The Sandigabayan yesterday junked Senator Juan Ponce Enrile&#8217;s motion for reconsideration, and affirmed the 90-day suspension of the senator following the plunder charges against him.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.5; color: #000000;\">Third Division Clerk of Court Dennis Pulma told reporters in a brief press conference, that &#8220;Sen. Juan Ponce Enrile\u2019s Motion for Reconsideration on the court\u2019s July 24 resolution is hereby denied for lack of merit.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.5; color: #000000;\">He further noted that they will &#8220;furnish [the resolution] to the Office of Sen. Enrile for implementation.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.5; color: #000000;\">\u201cLikewise, the Office of Sen. Enrile is ordered to inform the court of its action on this five days after its receipt. The suspension will be automatically lifted after 90 days of its implementation,\u201d Pulma added.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.5; color: #000000;\">\u201cHere, the Court has determined that the information filed is valid and thus, it behooved the Court to issue the preventive suspension order.
