These attacks are directed against our reputation, including me, who leads the war on drugs. You be the judge. See it for yourselves,\u201d the PNP chief said.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, PNP spokesperson, Brig. Gen. Bernard Banac said there is no need for a loyalty check among their ranks.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe do not see the need for a loyalty check for now. The whole PNP is in full support of the leadership and we are supporting our President as the Commander-in-Chief,\u201d he told a press briefing on Wednesday at Camp Crame, Quezon City.<\/p>\n<p>Banac said while many police officers are saddened by the recent events, they continue to fulfill their mandate.<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday, President Duterte said he will await results of investigations by the Senate and Interior Secretary Eduardo A\u00f1o before deciding on whether or not to fire Albayalde over his alleged involvement in the ninja cops issue.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MANILA\u00a0&#8212; Philippine National Police (PNP) chief, Gen.
