Among those included were civil and chemical engineers, medical radiation technologists, psychologists and information systems analysts and consultants.<\/p>\n<p>One year of work experience in an eligible occupation related to the candidate\u2019s field of study is required in order to be considered for a provincial nomination through either sub-category, among other criteria.<\/p>\n<p>A job offer in Saskatchewan and Canadian work experience are not required.<\/p>\n<p>The September 25 draws were among the largest held by Saskatchewan since it switched its Express Entry and Occupation In-Demand sub-categories to an\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/saskatchewan-expression-of-interest-eoi-system.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Expression of Interest (EOI) system<\/a>\u00a0in July 2018.<\/p>\n<p>A total of 365 invitations went to Occupation In-Demand candidates and another 404 invitations were issued through the SINP\u2019s Express Entry sub-category, which is open to eligible candidates with a profile in the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/sinp-international-skilled-worker-category.html#OccupationIn-Demand\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">federal Express Entry system<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Express Entry system manages the pool of candidates for three of Canada\u2019s main Economic Class immigration categories \u2014 the \u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/federal-skilled-worker-program-fswp.html?_ga=2.199357032.799766753.1569244040-806715713.1510089659\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Federal Skilled Worker Class<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/canada-federal-skilled-trades-program-fstc.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Federal Skilled Trades Class<\/a>, and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/canadian-experience-class.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Canadian Experience Class<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Express Entry candidates with a provincial nomination receive an additional 600 points towards their\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/express-entry-comprehensive-ranking-system.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ranking score<\/a>and are effectively guaranteed an invitation to apply for Canadian permanent residence.<\/p>\n<p>In order to be considered for a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/provincial-nomination-program.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">provincial nomination<\/a>\u00a0from Saskatchewan, Express Entry candidates must register a separate Expression of Interest with the SINP.<\/p>\n<p>Under the SINP\u2019s EOI system, eligible candidates are issued a score based on factors such as their education, work experience, proficiency in English or French and connections to Saskatchewan.<\/p>\n<p>Candidates with the highest scores are invited to apply for a provincial nomination through regular draws from the SINP\u2019s EOI pool.<\/p>\n<p>The minimum scores in the SINP\u2019s September 25 draws were 70 for Express Entry
