Overflowing \u2018yung blessings, hindi ko na ma-explain \u2018yung saya na nararamdaman ko.\u201d (Supplied Photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>GMA Artist Center talent\u00a0Martin del Rosario\u00a0received his first-ever\u00a0\u2018Best Actor\u2019\u00a0award in the Pista Ng Pelikulang Pilipino 2019 for his exceptional role as Daniel Panti in the comedy flick \u2018The Panti Sisters.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>The 26-year-old actor couldn\u2019t help but feel overwhelmed by the great turnout of his career this year, \u201cNakagawa ako ng isang character na kahit na sobrang extreme niya, nabigyan ko siya ng puso. Nakaka-overwhelm, bukod sa topgrosser, nanalo pa ng Best Actor, kasabay pa \u2018yung world premiere ng The Gift. Overflowing \u2018yung blessings, hindi ko na ma-explain \u2018yung saya na nararamdaman ko.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Martin is now gearing up for his role in the GMA primetime series \u2018The Gift,\u2019\u00a0where he plays Jared, a politician and Sep\u2019s (Alden Richards) half-brother. According to him, his new role is a big shift from his character in The Panti Sisters, but he is up for the challenge.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGustung-gusto ko talagang magplay ng iba\u2019t ibang roles. Sa bawat character na \u2018yan, feel ko nagagawa ko \u2018yung best ko, etong mga awards na ito, ito \u2018yung nakakainspire bilang artista. Pag na-recognize kasi parang may affirmation na tama pala \u2018tong ginagawa ko, nasa tamang landas ako.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, Martin also shared his preparations for yet another complex role in The Gift, \u201cPhysically, ngayon nag-palaki ako. Two weeks na akong nag-gym kasi kontrabida eh, si Alden mas matangkad sa akin, marami kaming confrontation, tapatan. Maganda \u2018yung believable, maganda \u2018yung tindig mo in terms of look, pinalitan ko ng mas clean \u2018yung gupit ko.
