Once the situation at Manila\u2019s ports normalizes by October, most issues regarding the price increase will be settled.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere are delays so there\u2019s temporary tightness in supply. If there\u2019s tightness, there\u2019s some effect on prices, but it\u2019s hard to quantify to what extent,\u201d BSP Governor Amando M. Tetangco Jr. said.<\/p>\n<p>Last week, Tetangco already called on the attention of the administration officials to address the issues of truck ban in Manila and rice supply shortfall in a bid to tone down price increases.
