Late submissions will not be accepted.<br \/>\nPlease see below for more information:<\/p>\n<p> Eligibility<\/p>\n<p>1.\tFirst and Second Generation Filipino-Canadians<br \/>\n2.\tMinimum 85% High School average on ALL subjects<br \/>\n3.\tMust currently be enrolled in a Degree or Diploma program<br \/>\n4.\tMust be on their first year (no prior University credits) at any of the following Academic Institutions:<br \/>\n1.\tAssiniboine Community College<br \/>\n2.\tBrandon University<br \/>\n3.\tRed River College<br \/>\n4.\tSaint Boniface College<br \/>\n5.\tUniversity of Manitoba<br \/>\n6.\tUniversity of Winnipeg<br \/>\n5.\tMust be registered for at least 3 full courses (proof of registration required)<\/p>\n<p> Requirements<br \/>\n1.\tCompleted Application Form<br \/>\n2.\tCopy of High School Transcript of Records<br \/>\n3.\tProof of registration for the 2014-2015 school year<br \/>\n4.\tSelected recipient should have a return service. He\/she is required to attend three volunteer activities together with the UPAA-MB, Inc. members scheduled by the SocRes committee.<br \/>\n Confidentiality <\/p>\n<p>All information collected will remain strictly confidential and will only be accessible to the members of the UPAA-MB Inc. Bursary Committee. This information is to be used to evaluate applicants and to select the bursary recipient.<\/p>\n<p>Special Instructions<br \/>\n1.\tDownload application form from www.upmb.net<br \/>\n2.\tFill out the application form<br \/>\n3.\tScan and\/or save completed form as a PDF file<br \/>\n4.\tScan all other documents required for application<br \/>\n5.\tAll files need to be zipped and zip file name should be the applicant\u2019s name (i.e. john doe.zip)<br \/>\n6.\tEmail zipped file to socres@upmb.net with subject<br \/>\nSCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION<br \/>\n7.\tRead and follow instructions carefully. Failure to comply may result to disqualification.<\/p>\n<p>Notification\/Announcement<br \/>\nAfter all applications have been evaluated, the UPAA-MB Inc. Bursary Committee will contact the successful applicant to inform him\/her that he\/she has been chosen to receive the bursary. With the permission of the bursary recipient, this information will also be published on the UPAA-MB Inc. website following the awarding.<\/p>\n<p>Awarding<br \/>\nThe bursary will be awarded third week of September.
