(Pexels Photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>MANILA<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Senator Christopher \u201cBong\u201d Go on Tuesday bared the plan of President Rodrigo Duterte to create a commission for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) pending the approval of the Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity and Expression (SOGIE) Equality bill.<\/p>\n<p>In an interview, Go said the possibility of creating an LGBTQ commission through an executive order was among the topics discussed in the President\u2019s meeting with key LGBTQ advocates led by Bubsie Sabarez on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Go noted that the President committed to support the SOGIE bill and push both houses of Congress for its passage.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cSa ngayon po,<\/em>\u00a0full support<em>\u00a0si Pangulo sa<\/em>\u00a0SOGIE bill.<em>Magpapadala rin daw siya ng<\/em>\u00a0position paper<em>\u00a0niya<\/em>\u00a0(At the moment, the President fully supports the SOGIE bill.
