(Pixabay Photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The Government of Prince Edward Island sent out 143 invitations to Expression of Interest candidates in the Express Entry, Labour Impact and Business Impact categories of its Provincial Nominee Program.<span id=\"more-12658\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The 143 invitations were broken down as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>133 Express Entry and Labour Impact<\/li>\n<li>10 Business Impact<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The PEI PNP\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/pei-pnp-express-entry.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Express Entry Category<\/a>\u00a0is linked to the federal\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/express-entry.html?_ga=2.55267624.229165993.1563761159-806715713.1510089659\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Express Entry system<\/a>\u00a0and allows the province to nominate\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/federal-skilled-worker-program-fswp.html\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Federal Skilled Worker Class<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/canada-federal-skilled-trades-program-fstc.html\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Federal Skilled Trades Class<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/canadian-experience-class.html\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Canadian Experience Class<\/a>\u00a0candidates for permanent residence.<\/p>\n<p>Candidates who obtain a nomination from the province are awarded 600 additional points towards their\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/express-entry-comprehensive-ranking-system.html\">Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS)<\/a>\u00a0score and are effectively guaranteed an\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/express-entry-invitation-to-apply-for-permanent-residence.html\">Invitation To Apply (ITA)<\/a>\u00a0in a subsequent draw from the Express Entry pool.<\/p>\n<p>PEI\u2019s Labour Impact category is for foreign nationals with a valid job offer in the province and support from a PEI employer. Candidates in this category may fall under three possible streams:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/prince-edward-island-labour-impact-category.html#SkilledWorkerStream\">Skilled Worker<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/prince-edward-island-labour-impact-category.html#CriticalWorkerStream\">Critical Worker<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/prince-edward-island-labour-impact-category.html#InternationalGraduateStream\">International Graduate<\/a>. The Labour Impact program is not tied to Express Entry.<\/p>\n<p>The Province also issued 10 invitations to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/prince-edward-island-business-impact-category.html\">Business Impact<\/a>\u00a0candidates with a minimum score of 112 on the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/prince-edward-island-business-impact-category.html#expression-of-interest\">program\u2019s points system<\/a>, under the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/prince-edward-island-business-impact-category.html#WorkPermitStream\">Work Permit Stream<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Everyone who wants to be considered for a provincial nomination through the Express Entry, Labour Impact and Business Impact categories must first submit an\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.princeedwardisland.ca\/en\/service\/submit-your-expression-interest-profile\">Expressions of Interest<\/a>\u00a0(EOI).
