Her reason for quitting? She said, &#8220;I really felt that I needed a break.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Nadine revealed this in an interview with ABS-CBN, explaining that she was a &#8216;little burnt out&#8217; after starring in two films \u2014 &#8220;Ulan&#8221; and &#8220;Indak&#8221; \u2014<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>this year that&#8217;s why she asked for time off from work to her management, Viva Artists Agency.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><i>&#8220;Mahirap din po na gumawa ng pelikuka kasi <\/i>(It is hard to make a move because) other than shooting, <i>meron pang<\/i> (there are also) promotions. So since it&#8217;s an MMFF (Metro Manila Film Festival) Film, <i>parang naisip ko na baka maging masyado ng<\/i> hectic <i>&#8216;yung<\/i> schedule, <i>mahihirapan din po ako na <\/i>(I thought that it might be too hectic with the schedule; it will be hard for me). At the end of the day, <i>ayaw ko naman pong parang umayaw dahil pagod ako at <\/i>burnout <i>ako <\/i>(I do not want to give up just because I&#8217;m tired and burnt out)<i>,&#8221;<\/i> she said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The actress added that her management completely understood her decision to back out of the movie.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">&#8220;They understand <i>kung gaano naging ka<\/i>-hectic <i>ang<\/i> schedule <i>ko<\/i> (how hectic my schedule was) for the past few months. Ever since <i>nag<\/i>-start &#8216;<i>yung<\/i> year, <i>sunod-sunod na po ako <\/i>(the year started, projects were coming consecutively), so they felt that I needed a break din <i>po,&#8221; <\/i>she said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Nadine was supposed to play the role of the daughter of a mentally challenged man who was wrongfully imprisoned for a crime he did not commit. Nadine&#8217;s father if she pursued the role will be played by veteran actor Aga Muhlach.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The actress admitted that it was sad that she had to let go of her role which is now given to another Kapamilya actress, Bela Padilla.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">[<a href=\"https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/2019\/07\/25\/nadine-lustres-miracle-in-cell-no-7-role-recast-to-bela-padilla\/\">READ: Nadine Lustre\u2019s \u201cMiracle in Cell No.7\u201d role recast to Bela Padilla<\/a>]<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">&#8220;It&#8217;s a good project, good material. <i>Kaya lang po kasi sa akin mas importante para sa akin &#8216;yung sarili ko kasi <\/i>(However, what is more important for me is myself since) I&#8217;m not rushing <i>naman po eh,&#8221; <\/i>she explained.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Nadine said she was happy that Bela will be taking over her role, describing the latter as a &#8220;good actress,&#8221; &#8220;good writer,&#8221; and someone who &#8220;takes what she does seriously.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Bela is known for her roles in &#8220;Camp Sawi,&#8221; &#8220;100 Tula Para Kay Stella,&#8221; and &#8220;Meet Me in St. Gallen,&#8221; among others.
