MANILA<\/strong>\u00a0— The Senate on Wednesday elected the second half of committee chairmanships for the 18th Congress.<\/p>\n

During the plenary session, Senate Majority Leader Juan Miguel Zubiri moved for the election of the chairpersons for 16 Senate committees.<\/p>\n

The committee chairmanships were approved by Senate President Vicente Sotto.<\/p>\n

Below is the list of chairpersons and committees for the second half of election:<\/p>\n

Committee on Youth – Senator Sonny Angara<\/p>\n

Committee on Climate Change – Senator Nancy Binay<\/p>\n

Committee on Peace, Unification, and Reconciliation – Senator Ronald dela Rosa<\/p>\n

Committee on Science and Technology – Senator Sherwin Gatchalian<\/p>\n

Committee on Sports – Senator Bong Go<\/p>\n

Committee on Justice and Human Rights – Senator Richard Gordon<\/p>\n

Committee on Accounts – Senator Panfilo Lacson<\/p>\n

Committee on Electoral Reforms and People\u2019s Participation – Senator Imee Marcos<\/p>\n

Committee on Ethics and Privileges – Senator Manny Pacquiao<\/p>\n

Committee on Trade, Commerce and Entrepreneurship – Senator Aquilino Pimentel III<\/p>\n

Committee on Banks, Financial Institutions and Currencies – Senator Grace Poe<\/p>\n

Committee on Civil Service, Government Reorganization and Professional Regulation – Senator Bong Revilla Jr.<\/p>\n

Committee on Urban Planning, Housing, and Resettlement – Senator Francis Tolentino<\/p>\n

Committee on Agrarian Reform – Senator Cynthia Villar<\/p>\n

Committee on Environment and Natural Resources – Senator Cynthia Villar<\/p>\n
