noreferrer\">cliquez ici<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Quebec has started issuing its first invitations to Quebec Skilled Worker Program candidates with an Expression of Interest profile in the province\u2019s Arrima system.\u00a0\u00a0<span id=\"more-12471\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Invited candidates began receiving email notifications on Thursday, July 4.<\/p>\n<p>Those who received an invitation have 60 days to submit a complete application for a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/quebec-immigration-quebec-selection-certificate.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Quebec Selection Certificate<\/a>(Certificat de s\u00e9lection du Qu\u00e9bec, or CSQ).<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/arrima-portal-quebec-immigration.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Arrima system<\/a>\u00a0was launched in September 2018 to manage the bank of candidates for the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/quebec-skilled-worker-immigration.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Quebec Skilled Worker Program<\/a>\u00a0(QSWP).<\/p>\n<p>Candidates use Arrima to create an\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/quebec-immigration-expression-of-interest-eoi-system.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Expression of Interest<\/a>\u00a0profile that is then submitted into the bank of QSWP candidates.<\/p>\n<p>The Government of Quebec said the first invitations through Arrima will prioritize candidates who either have a validated job offer with a Quebec employer\u00a0<b>or<\/b>\u00a0who meet one of the following conditions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>had their application for a Quebec Selection Certificate terminated on June 16, 2019, and were a temporary resident of Quebec when they had applied;\u00a0<b>or<\/b><\/li>\n<li>had their application for a Quebec Selection Certificate terminated on June 16, 2019, and were working or studying in Quebec at that time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>June 16, 2019, was the date when\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cicnews.com\/2019\/06\/quebec-passes-legislation-cancelling-thousands-of-pending-skilled-worker-applications-0612413.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">reforms to Quebec\u2019s immigration laws<\/a>\u00a0were passed that cancelled around 16,000 pending applications to the QSWP.<\/p>\n<p>The cancelled applications had all been filed prior to the introduction of Arrima, which Quebec\u2019s Immigration Ministry (MIDI) says is more conducive to matching immigration candidates to the specific labour needs of employers around the province.<\/p>\n<p>Candidates who fall into one of the two prioritized groups affected by the reforms and who have not yet created an Arrima profile have until December 16, 2019, to create one if they wish to be invited to apply for a CSQ.<\/p>\n<p>MIDI said there will be several invitation rounds between now and January 16, 2020, for the prioritized candidates described above.<\/p>\n<h4><b><i>If you receive an invitation to
