On August 30, Filipino fans across the country will be able to watch all the games of Gilas Pilipinas, the country\u2019s national basketball team and representative to the games in Spain, through an exclusive live free-TV airing from TV5. This gives every Filipino a chance to witness the journey of our national team.<\/p>\n<p>Aside from the actual tournament, the tune-up games of Gilas Pilipinas will also be shown exclusively on TV5. Dubbed \u201cGilas Pilipinas vs The World,\u201d the series will show the PH national teama going against the best international teams of the following countries: Angola, Australia, Ukraine, Egypt, and France.<\/p>\n<p>Fans will also be treated to regular updates and interviews through the FIBA World Cup Primer from Sports5 which will be shown from August 25 to 29 at 7:30 PM.<\/p>\n<p>For the 2014 FIBA World Cup, the first Gilas Pilipinas game is against Croatia at 6:30 PM on the 30<sup>th<\/sup>. It will be followed by the game against Greece at 2:00 AM, and against Agentina 11:30 PM both on September 1.
