(File <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/senateph\/photos\/a.815377408486542\/2260205650670370\/?type=3&amp;amp;theater\">Photo<\/a>: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/senateph\/\">Senate of the Philippines\/Facebook<\/a>)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>MANILA<\/strong>\u00a0&#8212; An election watchdog expressed support for Senate President Vicente Sotto III&#8217;s proposed bill for a hybrid election system in the country.<\/p>\n<p>National Movement for Free Elections (Namfrel) chairman Gus Lagman noted that he has been pushing for such kind of election system during his time as a Commissioner of the Commission on Elections (Comelec).<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I designed a hybrid system that Namfrel has sent to the Senate, House, and some media outlets.
