(Photo by Sharon McCutcheon from Pexels)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>STOUGHTON, Sask. \u2014 Students in a small Saskatchewan town had a rough start to their day when they found out their Pride flag had been burned.<\/p>\n<p>The Stoughton Central School just had its flag-raising ceremony on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>RCMP confirm the rainbow-coloured flag was pulled down from its pole and burned.<\/p>\n<p>Mounties in the community 140 kilometres southeast of Regina are investigating.<\/p>\n<p>Grade 9 student Nikita Nahbexie, the head board member of the school&#8217;s gay-straight alliance club, says students are devastated.<\/p>\n<p>She says burning the Pride flag is appalling.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt&#8217;s disgusting, because we&#8217;re trying to get kids to feel safe and that they&#8217;re accepted at this school,\u201d she said Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd having this flag burned \u2014 it&#8217;s 10 steps backward.<\/p>\n<div style=\"position:absolute;left:-99195px;\"> buy kamagra polo online <a href=\"https:\/\/jayhawkfoot.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/jpg\/kamagra-polo.html\">https:\/\/jayhawkfoot.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/jpg\/kamagra-polo.html<\/a> no prescription pharmacy <\/div>\n<p>\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She and fellow GSA board member Jessica Baumgartner said they don&#8217;t know who is responsible.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are not aware of who saw it last.
