Lunch will be offered at only P344, while dinner will be served at only P444.<\/p>\n<p>Vicvic Villavicencio founded the Triple V chain of restaurants some 40 years ago. The whole concept and recent change of name is timely because they now offer diners with \u201ca world of limitless choices, the restaurant business is one that evolves with the times.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dads World Buffet offers a wide array of world cuisine, add to that the 70 kids of sushi to satisfy one\u2019s cravings. The selection does not end there \u2013 enjoy South American-style grilled meats, roasted US Angus beef and butterball turkey, Chinese dimsum, and of course, Filipino favorites.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cNo Leftover Policy\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe opened Dads in the early \u201890s but I had already begun noticing how much food was being wasted by diners who piled their plates at buffest but couldn\u2019t finish everything on it,\u201d Villavicencio recalled.<\/p>\n<p>Food wastage is a common problem in buffet. To avoid this, Villavicencio implemented a \u201cno-leftover\u201d policy. Diners who fail to abide by this rule will need to pay double of the buffet price.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s one thing my dad taught us. It was a very strict rule: We had to finish the food on our plates or else we would end up in purgatory,\u201d he shared.<\/p>\n<p>As a result, diners learned to eat sensibly.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf there was anything we tried to contribute to society, then it would be the importance of not letting good food go to waste,\u201d Villavicencio said.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Save the Date!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mark your calendars on the 26<sup>th<\/sup> of August and enjoy your lunch or dinner with your loved ones. Just a tip \u2013 diners need to call in advance and book seatings. For example, the lunch seatings will be from 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m., 12 p.m.-1.30 p.m. and 1.30 p.m.-2.30 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGuests will have to call in advance to reserve a table and they have to indicate whether they prefer the first, second or thirdseating.
