(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/BnciKyVB5yX\/?taken-by=iamcardib\">File Photo<\/a>: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/iamcardib\/\">CARDIVENOM\/Instagram<\/a>)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>NEW YORK \u2014 Cardi B made a court appearance Friday in a case stemming from a fight at a New York strip club.<\/p>\n<p>The Grammy-winning rapper \u2014 in a pink pantsuit and long, sparkling pink fingernails \u2014 appeared sombre and did not speak during the hearing.<\/p>\n<p>Cardi B faces misdemeanour reckless endangerment and assault charges in connection with the melee at a Queens strip club last fall.<\/p>\n<p>Police say the rapper, whose real name is Belcalis Almanzar, and her entourage were at the club when she argued with a bartender. They say a fight broke out in which chairs, bottles and hookah pipes were thrown, slightly injuring the woman and another employee.<\/p>\n<p>Her lawyer has said that she didn&#8217;t harm anybody.<\/p>\n<p>Prosecutors said Friday they would present the case to a grand jury.<\/p>\n<p>The district attorney&#8217;s office asked to have her back in court on June 3, but Cardi B&#8217;s lawyer said she was not available then, so the next hearing date was set for Aug. 9.<\/p>\n<p>The conditions of her parole were continued, including an order of protection for the complainants.<\/p>\n<p>Fans followed Cardi B out of the courtroom on Friday, trying to get photos.
