MANILA — National University (NU) overwhelmed defending champion De La Salle, 77-55, to remain unbeaten at the end of the UAAP Season 77 women\u2019s basketball tournament first round of eliminations on Sunday at the Blue Eagle Gym.<\/p>\n

Gemma Miranda had 20 points and 17 rebounds while Afril Bernardino added 17 points and eight boards as the Lady Bulldogs never trailed to fan their unbeaten run to seven games.<\/p>\n

Camille Claro was the lone bright spot for the Lady Archers (6-1) with 11 points.<\/p>\n

It was the first meeting by both teams since La Salle beat NU in Game 3 of the championship series last season.<\/p>\n
