(File <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Drake\/photos\/a.10150686268239304.408605.83711079303\/10154214969369304\/?type=3&amp;amp;theater\">Photo<\/a>: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Drake\/\">Drake\/Facebook<\/a>)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>TORONTO &#8212; A Milwaukee radio station is giving superstar Drake the silent treatment heading into the NBA finals.<\/p>\n<p>Hosts of morning show Riggs &amp; Alley announced this week they&#8217;ve put a temporary ban on playing the Toronto rapper&#8217;s music over their airwaves as his hometown team battles the Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA Eastern Conference Finals.<\/p>\n<p>During the best-of-seven series, they say 103.7 KISS-FM will take a \u201cbreak from Drake\u201d in hopes it&#8217;ll help the Bucks squash the Toronto Raptors.<\/p>\n<p>The co-hosts joined their producer to reveal the plans in a video posted on the radio station&#8217;s Twitter account.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDrake&#8217;s a big smack-talker on the basketball court,\u201d Riggs says to his colleagues.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI say until the series is over we take a break from playing Drake.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The trio launch into a \u201cbreak from Drake\u201d chant before rushing into the studio and deleting his track \u201cIn My Feelings\u201d from their radio playlist.<\/p>\n<p>Pulling Drake&#8217;s music is a much bigger commitment than a few hit songs.<\/p>\n<p>Aside from radio favourites \u201cHotline Bling\u201d and \u201cNice For What,\u201d he also features on an array of other performers&#8217; tracks, including current Billboard Hot 100 hits by Meek Mill and Summer Walker. The hosts say all those songs are taking a leave of absence from their station too.<\/p>\n<p>Drake&#8217;s had a rough go of it this NBA season. The tireless courtside supporter of the Raptors found himself at the centre of a supposed \u201cDrake curse\u201d after sports fans pointed out teams and athletes he supports often go on to lose.<\/p>\n<p>After the Raptors defeated the Philadelphia 76ers in Game 7 on Sunday, he played into the joke with an Instagram video that showed him wearing Sixers shorts as he celebrated the win.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>TORONTO &#8212; A Milwaukee radio station is giving superstar Drake the silent treatment heading into the NBA finals.
