RICHARD MADELO\/PRESIDENTIAL PHOTO<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>MANILA<\/strong>\u00a0&#8212; President Rodrigo Duterte on Monday insisted that the matrices released by Malaca\u00f1ang showing how the Liberal Party, the Magdalo group, and media outlets are conspiring to discredit him are \u201ctrue\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The plotters, who have been named in the matrices, have denied such allegation but Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo and the President himself have insisted that they have been verified.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Totoo yung<\/em>\u00a0matrix,\u00a0<em>pati yung<\/em>\u00a0spectral analysis\u00a0<em>ng boses nila<\/em>\u00a0(The matrix is true, even the spectral analysis of their voices),\u201d said Duterte in a chance media interview after casting his vote at the Daniel R. Aguinaldo National High School in Davao City.<\/p>\n<p>Duterte did not elaborate on the \u201cvoices\u201d he was referring to.<\/p>\n<p>He also said there were \u201ccommunications\u201d recorded that could validate the matrices but did not confirm or deny if they were obtained through wiretapping.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYes, wiretapping is against the law.\u00a0<em>Sino ang nag<\/em>\u00a0wire tap (Who wiretapped)? I really do not know,\u201d Duterte said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFinished product\u00a0<em>na yan e (<\/em>It\u2019s already a finished product).
